Diagnosis

In the curing process the first step is to set up the proper diagnosis reflecting the functional state of the patient. Our primary focus here is the professional knowledge of our physicians but at the same time we make sure that we use state-of-the-art diagnostic devices.

According to the teaching of Ayurveda the patient is a living book which the physician should be able to read. The symptoms of a disease always manifest themselves along with the loss of the system’s equilibrium. Ayurveda provides extremely accurate methods to identify the progress of a disease even before the manifestation of any visible symptoms. Once the nature of the imbalance is understood, its restoration becomes possible with the help of various therapy.

Physicians identify the information relating to the disease from bodily signs by examining the pulse at several bodily locations, the tongue, the face, the nails, eyes, skin, limbs, posture and abdomen. With the help of these they can identify the pathological processes taking place in the body, they can pinpoint which organs are weakened and find the places where toxins have accumulated. Unfortunately, modern laboratorial technology has pushed the diagnostic abilities of physicians into the background. Laboratory tests give good footing to the diagnosis, but natural diagnostics is indispensable since it gives a considerably more complete picture of the mental and bodily state of the patient along with its current changes.

Naturally, besides traditional Ayurvedic examination we also apply the latest methods of modern diagnostics and laboratory tests at our Siófok clinic in cooperation with other medical institutions.

The aim of a proper diagnosis is not only to identify the disease but also the subtle and gross causes of the disease and the most appropriate method to treat them.
